@karastenik: I've tried RevalueSettings but the game still crashes after the first attack, and I have to exit through the menu, which doens't work either. DxWnd also still works, but the transitions through the menus are quite awkward. It's possible that the problem is not DxWnd, but I don't know what the cause could be.

@karastenik: @jaybaldwin: As I've stated higher up, the issues with the releases before have been fixed (I did what was needed but I didn't encounter any problems). You're welcome to verify that (I assume I'm the only one still using the official releases, at least Firefox doesn't update any more and I can't check the official site).

@jaybaldwin: Try to locate the game folder and run the game.win.exe from there. If some other application is using the main window (like Explorer, for example), it could block WS_POPUP from being created, and then DxWnd's version wouldn't work. If the same happens please send me the log, which can be located in WindowedData/dlg.bmp. d2c66b5586
