The lower microhardness values of the free zones of Eta phase compared to the bulk Eta phase might be explained by the fact that during the pressure testing the free zones of Eta phase are not the only part of the sample that is compressed. The other parts of the sample are also compressed, resulting in lower microhardness values of the free zones.
The overall microhardness of the free zones of Eta-phase, measured by the Vickers indentation, is around 1300 HV. This is slightly higher than the typical microhardness of the bulk Eta phase. For example, the maximum values of bulk Eta phase microhardness in tested samples range from 1140 to 1200 HV.
Our measurements indicate that for both samples A and B and for the different species of Eta-phase only the indented areas (“free”) are harder than the bulk material, whereas their free zones (“fuzz”) are as soft as the bulk. The microhardness values of the indented areas of Eta-phase in sample B are lower than those of samples A, the explanation being that the indenter had penetrated into the sample B after the chemical treatment and the indentation was carried out in the Eta-phase area previously modified by the corrosive attack, so the microhardness of the indented Eta-phase was reduced. The microhardness of the Eta-phase free areas is similar in both samples A and B.
Microhardness values obtained from bulk specimens are always higher than those obtained from the surface. This can be explained because of the presence of the free volume in the bulk material, which causes softening of the matrix in the surface, while a hardening of the bulk material occurs. The effect of the free volume is less noticeable for lower hardness materials, while it is more significant for materials with higher hardness.
The values of microhardness measured on the free zones of the Eta-phase of the samples from B to E confirm that the hardness of this phase is about four times lower than that measured on the normal zones of the same compound.
I am running a PC with Windows 7 and Adobe Photoshop CS6. I am wondering how to end the trial period and convert to a full copy of Photoshop CS6. I tried closing down Photoshop, which produced a message telling me to return the disk. I did that, but the same message returned. How can I end this?
Hi Dave,I was able to get my English Indesign CS6 to switch to German. But there is one Problem. The moment I startet Indesign there is the error message that my trial version ends soon altough I bougt a regular Version with correct serial number by an adobe seller. Can anybody help me? 827ec27edc
