While you cannot create bootable devices with the Lite versions, you can boot drives with the Ultra and Pro DAEMON disc tools: hard disks, USB sticks, etc. DAEMON allows you to create VHD and TrueCrypt archives with all of the platforms except the freeware.
Since you guys are debating about virtual cd áudio.I'm running daemon tools with Windows 98SE, and I wanted to play the cd áudio from tomb raider 1, is there a way?I also have the same game in cd format, but for me it's the same thing, my cdrom drive is missing the áudio cd cable '-'
Doesn't matter if you converted it to other formats, original format was probably wrong (iso). Iso doesn't support redbook, you need to use bin+cue, mds/mdf or ccd to properly dump data+audio cds...and use decent virtual cd programs like alcohol 52% or daemon tools to mount the image. Another important element: the vast majority of windows games only play redbook audio if your cdrom drive letter is the first one after those used by harddrive(s).
I was wondering if anyone knows what the best free lightweight software there is for windows 95 that can extract iso images. i've always had winrar 3.80 in my builds, however i had noticed that it couldn't detect iso files. i was hoping i could find an additional program to allow specifically reading and extracting iso images. i looked at many different programs being listed, magic iso, power iso, win iso, ultra iso, also there is 7-zip 9.20 as being mentioned as supported in another thread, and daemon tools 3.47 in another source, however, i didn't really like the ui of these two, and i don't know if daemon tools 3.47 only mounts iso images or can also extract them as imgburn 184.108.40.206 can already do this and i already have this in my archived files for windows 95, please correct me if i am wrong. 2b1af7f3a8
